Daryl Chance
The Adviser - Daryl's career has aways centered around the Financial Services Industry. With spells at Britannic Insurance, The Financial Advisory Bureau, 10 years at Pearl Assurance and then joining Hayburn Rock in November 1999.
Daryl is FPC and CeMap and offers advice in all areas of financial planning including mortgages, investments and pensions. He is currently studying towards a further qualification - QCA Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
The Person - In 2006 Daryl welcomed a new addition to the Chance household - a pedigree Shih Tzu called Toby! Daryl now enjoys long walks with Toby and even more so if it takes him past a Batham's pub where he can enjoy a good pint Daryl likes playing golf and watching his son play for Stourbridge Rugby Club's first team. Daryl's vice is playing poker on the internet....but not for 'real' money!
Did you know that...? Daryl once had trials with West Bromwich Albion FC.
Duncan Chance
The Adviser - Duncan started his career in the Financial Services in 2005 with HSBC and joined Hayburn Rock in August 2012.
Duncan has recently obtained his Diploma in Financial Planning, he is keen to progress with further qualifications and is now studying towards his Chartered Status.
Duncan offers advice in Mortgages, Insurance, Investments and Pensions.
The Person - Duncan is a very keen sportsman and is currently playing Rugby at a National level for Dudley Kingswinford. In addition to this, Duncan is a very enthusiastic Golfer, but is far from playing at the same level as his Rugby!
Did you know that..? Duncan was awarded the "Supporters Player of the Year" for Dudley Kingsinford Rugby Club in the 2011/2012 season!
Lucy Daniel
The Adviser - After obtaining a BA (Hons) in Drama and treading the boards for a few years, Lucy decided it was time for a career change and a 'sensible' job; joining Hayburn Rock in April 2004. Lucy completed the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Insurance and specialises in mortgages and related life insurance.
Alongside this Lucy is heavily involved in company compliance and T&C procedures and has now obtained the IFS certificate in Supervising in a Regulated Environment.
The Person - Lucy attends her local gym taking part in Body Jam classes. She enjoys socialising and being amongst her friends and can often be found in the bars and restaurants around Wollaston enjoying a glass of wine and a meal. After a few too many glasses of wine Lucy's theatrical side explodes on the Karaoke. Alanis Morrisette eat your heart out!
Did you know that...? Lucy was Hayburn Rock's first 'Home Grown' adviser.
Sati Gaur
The Adviser - After spending 8 years with a Corporate company, Sati joined Hayburn Rock in May 2011. His financial career started with Countrywide in March 2003, where he started as a Mortgage Consultant and worked his way up to Executive Mortgage Consultant. Sati holds a full CeMap qualification and has vast amounts of experience in mortgages and protection products.
The Person - Sati enjoys most sports but his main passion is football. He enjoys listening to UB40 and was ecstatic when he met a couple of the band members some years ago. Most of his spare time is spent with his family and following his son, who plays for a local football team.
Did you know...? Recently Sati was filmed at our Hayburn Rock office for a television documentary giving advice and completing a mortgage application for one of his clients, which aired on More4.
Jon Hoult
The Adviser - Jon joined Hayburn Rock in June 2011, having previously been a partner at St James's Place. His career in Financial Services began back in 1988 as a cashier at the Halifax Building Society, where he worked his way up to a Management position before taking the leap to become an Independent Financial Adviser in 1998. Jon is qualified to advise on most aspects of Financial Services and has been awarded the Diploma in Financial Planning, 12 months ahead of the deadline.
The Person - Jon enjoys all sports, including tennis, golf and skiing. He runs regularly and you may spot him and his wife, Tamara, pounding the streets and countryside around Wordsley. He is also a keen walker and a member of The National Trust. The majority of his spare time is spent following and encouraging his 10 year old son, Isaac, in all of his activities, especially football and cricket. Jon is a youth football goal keeping coach.
Did you know that...? Jon's daughter, Daisy, was a catwalk model at London Fashion Week in 2009 and 2010.
Tony Hughes
The Adviser - Tony Hughes obtained a BA (Hons) degree from London University. Graduating in 1993, Tony joined a corporate estate agency where he gained many years experience in the property market as well as training within the Financial Services Industry. FPC and CeMap qualified, Tony joined Hayburn Rock in 2002.
Tony specialises in mortgages and associated protection products.
The Person - Tony's leisure interests include rowing, golf and going to the cinema. Tony also enjoys long weekends in London with his wife, catching a show in the West End followed by a meal at one of London's many fine restaurants.
Did you know that...?Tony was once an alter boy! 'Amen' to that!
Ben Perks
The Adviser - Ben started working in the Financial Services industry in 2006 and has gained experience in Student Finance and Corporate Recovery. Ben joined Hayburn Rock in June 2012 as an Estate Planning Associate and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Professional Willwriters. Will Writing and Estate Planning is a brand new service offered by Hayburn Rock Associates and Ben encourages everyone to visit the Will Writing page in the Services section of this website. Ben has recently become qualified in mortgage advice so can offer his clients advice on mortgages and associated protection, as well as provisions for their future in a Will.
The Person - Ben is a keen sportsman and has played rugby both competitively and socially since the age of 9. He loves going out for meals and enjoys nothing more than 'socialising' with friends and family.
Did You Know...? Ben has played rugby at a national level against Singapore at Murrayfield!
Kevin Smith
The Adviser - Kevin began his career in Financial Services in 2005. Kevin previously enjoyed a successful career at Countrywide, where he started as a Mortgage Consultant, working his way up to Senior Executive Consultant, before joining Hayburn Rock in March 2012.
Kevin has his CeMap qualification and currently specialises in Mortgage Advice and associated Protection. He is currently studying towards his QCA Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
The Person - Kevin enjoys nothing more than going out for meals and drinks with his friends. He is also an avid Formula One and Football fan.
Did you know that ...? Kevin loves to show off his dance moves and will always be found on the dance floor at parties!
